Born in Manhattan New York I am bi-lingual and bi-cultural and hold dual citizenship for United States and Japan. MBA and Global Management Program (GMP) certificate from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1994.
I am serving as CMO for IMJ Corporation who is the largest independent web integrated in Japan from November 2014. In addition to my current job, I will be teaching interactive marketing and emerging businesses part time (weekends and night time on weekdays) in The Graduate School of Project Design from April, 2012.
I also served as Senior Director, Central Marketing Organization Lead - Microsoft Japan from Sept. 2012 - Oct. 2014. Vice President, iMarketing, Coca-Cola Japan from Oct. 2005- Aug. 2012.
I have 18+ years of interactive marketing experience, 18+ years of internet business experience, 10+ years of internet business management experience and have a broad network across all areas of interactive marketing in Japan.
I have also earned Various recognitions such as Nikie BP Ad Award Grand Prix + 3 other categories 2013, Web Marketer of the year 2010, (Japan Advertisers Association, Sept. 2010), Guinness World Records, Largest Online Bingo Event, (September, 2010), Best in Class, Best Interactive Marketing Program, (The Coca-Cola Company Worldwide Marketing Awards 2009 (May 2010), Japan Promotions Award (2009) etc.
I am also known as an opinion leader in Japan and have been writing regular articles on interactive marketing trends for 3 years on leading Japanese online magazines (Nikkei Web Marketing, Advertimes). Co-Author of a novel "Coca-Cola Park's challenge for Eco-System Marketing" (First Press, Nov. 2009). Advisory board of ad:tech Tokyo (2009-present) and Net Ratings Inc. (2010-11). Popular speaker and have appeared in varous ad:tech Tokyo sessions (ad:tech San Francisco, iMedia Brand Summit Goa, Nielsen 360 etc.
