防衛大学を卒業後、セブンイレブンジャパンにて、店長としての店舗経営、スーパーバイザー、商品開発など、小売店の業務を一通り経験し、その後、富士通にてシステムベンダーとしてPOSを開発する上での業務設計コンサルティング、事業戦略コンサルティングを主に流通業向けに実施。ロサンゼルスに駐在し大手コンビニチェーンのロサンゼルス進出プロジェクトを全面的に支援した。
日本コカ・コーラ社では、チャネルマーケティング、新規商品ローンチ、フランチャイズマネージメントを経験。その後、アマゾンジャパンに移り、飲料バイヤーからキャリアをスタートさせ、その後食品飲料事業部長として、急激な組織成長と売り上げ成長に貢献し、ECでの経験値を積む。
2015年より楽天に参画し、ジャンル体制への移行期において食品ジャンル戦略立案の実行責任者を務める。
食品飲料業界でのEC戦略をベースに、消費財全般、またメーカー、小売(オンライン オフライン両方)の経験から、バリューチェーン全体を俯瞰した戦略策定についてアドバイス可能です。
また、組織の立ち上げ経験が豊富な為、人材戦略、組織戦略、あるいは、自衛隊での経験から、リーダーシップ育成、リーダーシップ戦略についてもアドバイス可能です。
2017,2月より、越境ECベンチャーのInagoraに参画し、消費財カテゴリーの総責任者として、売り上げを前年比10倍の成長に貢献。
自社自前で、物流、情報コンテンツ、決済全て完了するサービスを構築しており、1年間で食品、日用品メーカーの150社以上を越境ECに参入させた。
主に中国への越境ECであるが、合わせてアメリカ、中東、東南アジアにも拡大中。
2018,1月より、カテゴリー責任者に加え、財務、人事総務、バックオフィス全般も統括する副社長に就任。
日中間の人事制度構築や、オフィス拡張プラン、全社的な人材戦略なども兼任。
2020,8月より、Inagora顧問に就任し、自身にてD2Cコンサルティング会社を起業。また並行して越境ECプラットフォームの立上げや、KDDIが推進するEC事業(au pay market)における自社物販戦略立案を担当。その他数社の顧問を務める。
After graduating from the National Defense Academy of Japan, he worked for Seven-Eleven Japan, where he gained experience in all aspects of retail store operations, including store management as a store manager, supervisor, and product development. Later, he worked for Fujitsu as a system vendor, providing business design consulting and business strategy consulting for POS system, which is mainly for the retail industry. He moved to Los Angeles and worked for providing full support for a major convenience store chain's expansion project into Los Angeles.
At Coca-Cola Japan, he was involved in channel marketing, new product launches, and franchise management. He then moved to Amazon Japan, where he started his career as a beverage buyer, and later as a food and beverage business manager, contributing to rapid organizational and sales growth and gaining experience in e-commerce.
In 2015, he joined Rakuten and was responsible for executing the food & beverage genre strategy planning during the transition to the genre system.
Based on his EC strategy in the food and beverage industry, he has experience in consumer goods in general as well as in manufacturing and retailing (both online and offline), and providing advice on strategy development across the entire value chain.
He also has a wealth of experience in setting up organizations, so he can provide advice on human resource strategy, organizational strategy, and leadership development and strategy based on his experience in the SDF.
In February 2017, he joined Inagora, a cross-border e-commerce venture, as a general manager of the consumer goods category, he contributed to a 10-fold increase in sales compared to the previous year.
He has built a service that completes all logistics, information content, and settlement on his own, and in one year has helped more than 150 food and daily necessities manufacturers to enter the cross-border EC market.
In one year, more than 150 manufacturers of food and daily necessities have entered the cross-border EC market, mainly in China, but also in the United States, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
In January 2018, he was appointed as Vice President in charge of the category as well as finance, human resources and general affairs, and overall back office.
He also oversees the establishment of a Japan-China HR system, office expansion plans, and company-wide human resource strategies.
In August of 2020, he became an advisor of Inagora and founded his own D2C consulting company. At the same time, he was in charge of launching a cross-border EC platform and planning the company's product sales strategy for KDDI's EC business (au pay market).He also has been an advisor of a few other companies.
