自己紹介

In my whole career I have specialized in launching new products and developing Japanese market. They are research-use-only (RUO) products for pharma industry as well as academic market.

I started my career as a product manager for research reagents business including fetal bovine serum, cell culture reagants and ELISA kits. It was totally a new business for the company and I was able to acquire necessary skills, know-hows, train local distributors and build an effective distribution networks. I have succeeded and won over Cosmo Bio in signing with Biosource and introduced their ELISA products into Japanese market for the first time in early 1990s. Later on I also became in charge of Corning Tissue Culture plastics. Through this early days of my career, I had learned the basic business of RUO products.

In the second company I have met the state-of-the-art technology called HTRF (Homegeneous Time Resolved Fluorescence) and I soon became a fan of it. I love it so much and it has been twenty years since I started marketing the products in Japanese market although the companies change several times along the way.

I involved myself in the creation of Cisbio Bioassays's subsidiary in Japan in the middle of 4th QTR of 2014. It was a thrilling experience; there were only two and a half months from the start of preparation and the day of first sales. With a help of my partner the company started a full operation in Jan. 2015 without major problems.
