I’ｍ a professional public affairs consultant, media skills trainer,presentation coach and speech writer. He started his career as a news reporter at Yomiuri Shimbun, the national quality newspaper which has the largest circulation in the world of nearly 10 million, and worked in the Urawa branch covering police, local government and city news. He then developed his career as a science/technology reporter and covered subjects relating to the Meteorological Agency, Ministry of Environment and other science related institutes and congresses. Masato also joined an IT news department, and reported technology related news. After 12 years of working for the newspaper, he moved to Weber Shandwick Worldwide as a director of Public Affairs and Heathcare. Thereafter he found his own PR company, Japan Media Strategy, Inc. He also joined Prap Japan, Inc. and contributed to the major political party's national election communication campaign.
