Tomohiro Yamaguchi is the Executive Managing Director of SBI FinTech Solutions (listed on KOSDAQ) and SBI remit, a subsidiary of SBI Group. Tomohiro oversees the company’s entire business, finance and operation. Besides, he is in charge of developing new projects in Japan and overseas, especially in Fintech and Blockchain areas.
Tomohiro has over 20-year experience in financial business, especially in the areas of payment services, settlement business and international remittance.
Tomohiro joined SBI Group in 2000. Since then, he served as the Executive Managing Director and COO,CFO of VeriTrans Inc (previously listed on JASDAQ), econtext Asia Limited (previously listed on HKEX), iResearch Consulting group, NaviPlus Co., Ltd and eCure Co.,Ltd. He managed the finance and business strategic direction for the firms.
Tomohiro was named Head of Overseas Business of SBI group in 2015 and was appointed as the board member of multiple SBI overseas subsidiaries. He played a key role in developing overseas business, global investment, investor relations and corporate branding.
Prior to joining SBI Group, Tomohiro worked for a financial consulting firm. He provided mergers and acquisitions, tax planning and transfer pricing consulting services for multinationals.

Tomohiro has connected business to academy and governments. He lectured at Tsinghua University and Money 2020 for business ideas. He has funded Investment fund with partners from other countries, such as the Brunei government, Malaysia's PNB, Jefferies Tsinghua University.
