Currently working as a part of International Tax Service at EY Tokyo, where I provide tax consulting services for outbound clients on Japanese tax matters and for Japanese MNE and start-ups on the interplay of Japanese tax as well as US and other jurisdictions’ tax implications through co-working with EY colleagues in each jurisdiction. Such matters specifically include financing structuring, R&D credits, permanent establishment implications, stock options and cross-border M&A transactions.
Before joining EY ITS in Tokyo, I worked at the Japan Business Services of EY in New York after my LL.M. in International Taxation from New York University School of Law.
Prior to attending NYU School of Law, I worked as a M&A lawyer in the largest law firm in Japan mainly on cross border M&A deals.
