Charged with building strategic marketing capability for Stryker, and was instrumental in building a Strategic Marketing team of 8, and collaborating with the US Divisions to build a new approach for strategic planning across Stryker's portfolio of 13 businesses. Our team played an instrumental role in integrating the 5 acquisitions of Stryker, which included the value segment acquisition of Trauson from China, a Communications - OR light & Table business, Berchtold from Germany, a robotics business, Mako among others. Also had oversight responsibility for the Stryker Global Technology Center (R&D) in India which housed 260 engineers working across technology platforms. An important contribution was to build 'Market Appropriate Innovation' capability to address unmet needs in our portfolio.
