Six years at United Airlines where I managed all aspects of EHS across multiple locations with a staff of 12 union Safety Advocates. My responsibilities included:
Responsible for Safety Excellence program through a three-tiered program; Silver, Gold and Platinum. Assure compliance with applicable local, State, and Federal regulations and conformance with the ISO 14001 standard.
Responsible for an injury reduction strategy that earned United Airlines in San Francisco OSHA VPP Star Demonstration. YOY reduction was improved by 21% by 2012 and sustained successfully.
Responsible for exceeding American Red Cross blood drive target to support Asiana airplane crash incident in 2013.
Managed and maintained compliance and permits for all EH&S programs; conducted routine, comprehensive self‐assessment audits across all programs
Delivered EH&S classroom trainings and developed e‐learning modules for over 800 Ramp and 1200 Customer service employees over an aggressive timeline.
Drive a proactive safety culture through strategic projects such as risk‐assessments, ergonomic risk baselines and a robust responsibility, ownership and behavior safety program - P-R-I-D-E (People Really Interested in Developing Excellence).
Created and developed Microsoft SharePoint site for Safety communication at United Airlines. The outcome led to the replication of my website for other United Airlines facilities across the world.
Address aircraft damages appended to department with a view to reviewing root causes and mitigating corrective actions/preventive measures for possible recalls.
Successful with project planning: attained a 100% OSHA requirement on Audiometric Hearing Testing for all co-workers at United for three consecutive years.
