AstraZeneca was at a point when their champion brand (Seroquel®) was to be re-launched into the Swedish market and with new therapeutic indications expected to be approved. As brand manager, I was tasked to create a new strategy and realign the market positioning of the brand.
In order to re-position the brand and realize the new strategy, new stakeholder support was created, local clinical trials initiated. Other key activities to realize the new strategy, was to create stakeholder support, initiate local clinical trials and reformulate the communication platform and branding. Five years after appointment, sales in Sweden had risen to 163 MSEK (annual growth of 30% p.a.).





With a solid track record with in Marketing & Sales, both as a Sales Representative, Brand Manager and as Business Development Manager, I have now built a platform Marketing and Sales as well as with in Corporate Strategy. This has been achieved both in my previous role as a Management Consultant and Business Development Manager, Global Product Marketing Manager and in my current role as Marketing Director. As I strive to further my knowledge in my every day work, I prepare myself for future challenges.
