Atul is a Design strategist who has designed products and mentored & managed design teams in his over 20 years of work experience.
He is a believer of involving users through the design process to create delightful products that claim success in the market. He likes experimenting with innovation tools, and practice design thinking in order to deliver higher value to the customers. Today’s design solutions would be more of systems solutions rather than standalone products, Atul with his wide experience across design fields can bring key value on the table. He has organized and conducted various innovative design workshops, UX trainings and was part of various conferences.
Objective:
USER RESEARCH: Having an in depth understanding of users is a must for design process. Knowing the user ‘wants and needs’, understanding their pain areas, and studying how users do their tasks is user research. Ethnographic study is studying how people work, and analyzing cultural references, behavioral patterns of users.
EXPERIENCE DESIGN: This is an era of User Experience, Modern Products and Services would be successful and effective in their purpose only with delightful User Experience. For creating the effective user experience, designers would need to work with the users, and validate the designs iteratively. Atul believes in (UCD) User Centered Design processes which involves the ‘end users’ through the development process.
INNOVATION: Design is ‘value addition’ to business. Innovation aims at improving the quality of life of humans. Atul likes exploring innovative and out of the box tools in the design process.
