Competition Policy and M&A in South East Asia


Expert in international trade and competition policy in South-east Asia, including merger notification and analysis.





In short, I am an Economist with rich experience in International Competition and Trade issues with more than 12 (twelve) years working at the Indonesian competition agency.

Currently I lead the Foreign Cooperation Division for the Indonesian Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition (KPPU). I specialize on several areas like competition policy and law, economics, and international relations.

I have been working for the KPPU for the past 12 (twelve) years, with 8 (eight) years assignment on international competition and trade related matters. During my assignment, I have been conducting studies and published reports on regional economic and trade issues in several international journals.

Prior to my current assignment, I was a Competition Policy Analyst who conducts sectoral researches, with specific topics like banking and commodities. I hold a master degree in Financial Management from the University of Indonesia, Jakarta.

In addition, I am a creative (and visual) person with specific interest to observe and develop institutional strategies.
