• In-charge for localization planning which includes parts identification, feasibility checking, documentation, and development.
• Responsible for feasibility study and conceptualize product designs, taking into consideration manufacturing, serviceability and ease of use to customer.
• Support product start-up activities and provide test planning for the eventual product release for manufacturing.
• In-charge for new vendor audit on technical side, checking particular supplier’s plant capacity, quality of work, commitment, and development capability.
• Responsible for semi-annual inspection and inventory of moulds, dies, jigs, and fixtures at all local vendors.
• In-charged for new model development of welding parts, paintable plastic and metal parts, decals, and paints at local vendor gearing with target development schedule of KHI – (Kawasaki Heavy Industry, Japan).
• Recommend budget and justify significant cost savings project to meet business objectives.
• Localized Housing-Assembly-Control-Left and Right for BC175A/B-model from TEAMWORLD, Taiwan to MINDA, India which gives the company a significant cost savings benefit maintaining high-quality m/c unit.
• Implemented in-house welding of ZX130-model which has a localized seventy six (76) welding component parts giving the company an annual cost savings of around Php15,000,000 for a production volume of 1,000 units per month.
• Localized Complete Set of Decals for BR125-model.
• Conducted Fuel Tank Moulds and Dies Assessment at Kawasaki Motors Thailand with the objective of improving capacity and overall appearance of BC175(Barako) 2007 model.
