In my capacity representing Alpha Flight Services, I'm overall responsible for Jetstar Group inflight catering operations in Southeast Asia. My portfolio responsibility expanded to include North Asia (Japan) from November 2015. My team performance manage two home-based inflight catering operations – 39 aircraft operating approximately 200 flights daily serviced by four caterers, in addition to eight catering suppliers across Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore.
My role has included sourcing & managing development of inflight products (through RFP/ tenders) in alignment with Jetstar Group product strategy as well as leadership, coaching and development of our Southeast Asian and Japan teams.





Edwin is a versatile business professional with over 13 years experience in the aviation industry. He has worked across a broad spectrum of functions in Australia and Singapore covering operations, commercial, inflight service delivery, sales & marketing, customer service and training. Edwin started up hub catering operations for the Jetstar Group in Singapore (2013) & Japan (2015) and currently heads the Jetstar inflight management team in Asia.

Actively supporting the next generation of aviation leaders, Edwin is also a part-time Associate Lecturer delivering RMIT University's aviation modules through the Singapore Institute of Management.
