Antal Takács is Director of Marketing in EMEA at Hankook Tires. He is also a freelance Consultant since August 2009.
He has over 20 years of sales and marketing related experience. Before joining Hankook Tires, he had experience in international business management in well-known companies, such as Continental, Michelin and Porsche, covering the whole value chain from R&D and production via finance to marketing and sales.
He has a proven track record of turning strategy and goals into bottom-line results using tactics of Challenger Brand Marketing. His roles have included the setting up of professional marketing and sales organizations from inception, launching products and services resulting in significant increase of market share and profitability and building up and leading multicultural teams to make his employer the market leader.
His academic credentials include a M.Sc. in Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, a M.Sc. in Economics from the College of Finance and Accountancy of Budapest Business School. In addition, he has completed many postgraduate studies, including: Chartered Institute of Marketing (Cookham, UK), Ashridge (UK), EM Lyon (France).
