1997 to 2010: Led IT Operations group which provided mission critical support on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis to the whole enterprise infrastructure which included but not limited to planning; deployment, maintenance, & budgeting for enterprise-wide IT data center operations. Managed critical incidents and ensured continuous access to vital technology resources. Created and implemented IT standard operating procedures. Liaised with Help desk, networking, application & technical support teams, and Relationship Managers and Customers to resolved problems, gathered business requirements to meet emerging demands. Monitored performance metrics, including SLAs. Managed Vendor relationships, assisted in setting up and facilitated DR and BCP exercises to ensure the integrity of production environment. Managed staff which included training; coaching; motivating; & hiring. Worked closely with HR and conducted performance evaluation; implemented disciplinary action and if necessary termination. Facilitated to resolved conflicting personal issues & grievances. Built high caliber team and elevated employee skill sets by providing them the tools and support they need to achieved this goal.
