Waleed Elhelw has over 15 Years of combined experience in Human Resources Management with a focus on building organization capability; talent management and succession planning; performance management and career development; Recruitment and Staffing; Employee Relations.
Waleed has worked in three fortune 100 companies, across a wide range of industries including fast moving consumer goods and Energy in the Middle East and Africa region. Waleed has an established track record of developing business relevant HR strategies and is seen as a credible business partner.
Currently, he is the Talent & Development Director for MENA responsible for the rolling out the Talent management agenda in the region with a focus on developing high potential talent within the competitive advantage roles, developing leadership capability and organization culture. Prior, Waleed was the HR Director for Coca-Cola Philippines; his key focus was to partner with the leadership team to achieve the business agenda. Before this role, Waleed was the Talent and Development Manager for the Middle East & North Africa region (33 countries). His key focus area was developing HR capability in managing the people planning processes, he alsoo managed the internal slating process for executive roles. He also acted as a coach in High Potential Global Assessment Centers & Mentoring programs.
Prior to Coca-Cola, Waleed was the Regional Human Resources Manager for General Electric’s Power Generation Service business in the Middle East & North Africa region based in Dubai.
Prior to General Electric, Waleed held several roles within PepsiCo International – Egypt as a Human Resources Manager for the Commercial functions, Plant Human Resources Manager and Organization Development Supervisor. Waleed started his career in Nestle Egypt.
Waleed has various HR certifications such as Targeted Selection, GE’s Change Acceleration Process and PDI’s Profiler. He is also a graduate from General Electric’s Experienced Human

He has a proven track record as a Generalist and Specialist in HR. Currently, Waleed is the Talent & Development Director for the Middle East and North West Africa. His focus is on driving a new performance driven culture through the new rating-less process called Performance Enablement.
