I am a global Human Resources leader with extensive international experience gained through several industries (financial services to high-tech), size of company (established corporate to start-up & entrepreneurial), phases of organization (both rapid growth and down cycles), and various cultures. I have lived and worked in Ireland, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and the US and was educated in Japan, USA, Canada, and the UK. The diversity of personal and professional experience has helped me become an agile and balanced HR leader.
I began my new chapter in 2016 and am truly excited about joining Telenor to head up the Digital Capabilities team within HR. Telenor has embarked on a digital journey to reinvent itself to deliver value to customers and ultimately society at large. I look forward to building my team and business globally to realize the company vision: Empower Societies.
Prior to Telenor, I held the role of Asia Pacific Regional Head of Human Resources at LinkedIn, a ubiquitous Silicon Valley company and built the HR team in Asia from scratch and helped the business achieve hyper-growth and expand into various new markets in Asia.
I had previously worked in a dynamic and blue chip environment such as General Electric (GE) and UBS and acquired key HR functional and leadership skills in HR Business Partnering, Compensation & Benefits, Mergers & Acquisitions, HRIS, and Organization Staffing and Development.
I am passionate about leading a commercially savvy, diverse, and balanced HR team and partnering with business leaders to help employees be a better version of who they are already.
