･To elucidate the cause and develop treatment options for diseases with unknown etiology.
･To determine the genetic link to the cause of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a scarring lung disease with extremely limited treatment options. IPF claims 40,000 lives annually in the U.S.A. alone, but it is still an underrecognized pulmonary condition.
･To elucidate optimal treatment options for the conditions described above.
Experience
･MD/ PhD with extensive skills and knowledge both in clinical and basic science.
･Strong background in gene expression analysis,molecular biology as well as pathology and medicine.
･Native level proficiency in English language and professional level proficiency in Japanese.
